Prices are based on the number of hours I calculate it will take to complete the job. Prices include all material costs, labour and necessary insurance protection.

This price is agreed once there has been time to thoroughly inspect the item to be reseated.

A receipt for the item is then issued with the agreed amount to be paid on collection either in cash or by certified cheque.

Invoice issued with housekeeping notes on how to carefully look after the furniture.

Items received from abroad are more difficult to price but, nevertheless, a price is agreed before commencement of the work. On completion, a pro-forma invoice is raised for payment to be made before the furniture leaves my workshop. This includes carriage costs.
Prices start at £85 for rush and £35 for seagrass.


Estimates:
A charge for time and travel to estimate work will only be made if the estimate is not accepted. Minimum charge £25.00
It is appreciated that dealing with family heirlooms makes the business a very personal craft. Most items of furniture are irreplaceable, beyond value and require careful handling at all times.
